Considering the circumstances of me going back to a high school dance, the weekend turned out to be one of the best I've had in quite a while.
Drove up to Phoenix friday afternoon and hung out and had dinner with my dad. Then I showered and drove up to the school for the football game. It was pretty tight since a lot of people in my grade came back from their respected colleges. I got to see Mel and AJ up from U of A and my sister, raychel and sarah from up in Flag. Caught up with a couple of my younger friends and afterwards I went over to Jane's to watch Monty Python and The Holy Grail. Great fucking movie. You're crazy if you think otherwise. The KT was a little upset with me so I cut my movie going experience short to go visit her. We sat and talked for a while then she passed out so I went home.
Saturday morning I woke up and went to the mall because I needed some snazzy new threads for the evening. Ran into Mel and Sarah which was cool because i was wandering around all by my lonesome. We had lunch and reminenced (sp?) for a while. I bought some winter wear at pac sun since 1.) its almost winter 2.) I'm going to Flagstaff next weekend and 3.) I only own one pair of pantaloons. So yeah did that in addition to a black shirt and a gold tie for dinner and the dance.
We had a fucking huge dinner group, like 18 people, and we had reservations at the Claim Jumper. I ordered the most excellent meatball calzone ever and we just headed back to the school afterwards. We were at the dance for a grand total of an hour and that was only because pictures took so damn long.
Afterwards our group went over to Kyle's place where the real fun began. Beer Pong, shotgunning, and gummy worms were plentiful. It was one of the better nights I've had. I got pretty messed up. Started off with a couple of huge ass shots of vodka followed by 2 rounds of beer pong and challenging my arch nemesis to a shotgun contest. Anyways it was an awesome night. Hanging out with all my highschool buddies was really cool. Katie drove me back to her house at the end of the night because i was in no shape to drive. I sobered up and drove home at like 5 am only to get woken up at 8 for a family breakfast. That was a blast. I woke up and my mom just looked at me once before asking how much i drank. :-p
I pretty much slept all of sunday save for a misadventure with Brad at the gym and a little poker game at erics. I went over to katies and said goodbye before I headed back to tempe. it was like 1:30 when we got back and all The Grill members met up at Denny's for a weekend recap and damn fine food.
And that was my weekend. Probably boring to some, but awesome for me. It's been a long time since I've seen Katie 3 days in a row and that meant a lot to me. She's on fall break which is equally as awesome because she can come visit this week. :)
As I mentioned above, me and Jeff are road tripping it to NAU this weekend for awesome shananigans. I'll get to hang out with ray and my sis so that's pretty cool. Jeff's probably going to try and get in

So last night marked the first night of the Anime Reunion Tour. Panda Man and myself, have been anime deprived for quite some time and last night was Repentance. Ryoken, Brian and myself gathered at The Panda Den where we set up Ryoken's computer of pure fawsome to Jeff's tv.
After a quick Blitzkreig of Taco Bell, where 1/2 lb burritos and three different flavors of Mountain dew were plentiful, we surfed the waves of time back to Jeff's to commence the anime action.
To summarize,
Gantz is pretty retarded. I never want to watch that show again. You die and then you're still alive but only so you can kill uber eleat aliens who eat leeks. What the shit? That fags old and retarded!
Samurai Champloo is, on the contrary, bad-fucking-ass. Two samurai who like ejaculate vigilante goodness all over the chin of fuedal Japan. Mugen and Jin are like totally anime versions of me and Panda Man. Jin looks exactly like Blind Steve, Jeff's alter ego and Mugen looks like me. Yeah that's pretty Baja Explosion awesome.
haha we also watched James' and Brians Calculus movie. That was funny as hell.
After some anime we took a break to watch funny flash animations. Newgrounds and AlbinoBlackSheep, you've never steered me wrong.
I left the festivities early to heed the call of the KT. We got icecream and then I tried to teach her how to play Halo 2. I think there's something in all women's genetics that make them incapable to play that game. But hey, I tried and it was pretty fun.
So I figured the majority of last night is going to be just about every night in college. And in NO way am I complaining.
As long as Mountain Dew is in stock we should survive. |

So I'm sitting at home right now, totally not at school due to my rank of Admiral of awesome.
I had a field trip this morning to Grand Canyon State University to check out some dead people. Man, cadavers rock my face. My anatomy/physiology class romped on over there this morning and my face nearly exploded. I thought for sure one of them would sit up and moan something about brains, but to my dismay, they did not. How I crave a zombie attack...Anyways, it was still pretty sweet. We got to see brains and livers and hearts and all that other stuff in your body. The smell was pretty overpowering. I walked in the door and I felt like Rocky Balboa just socked me in the face. My clothes still reek of Phamaldahyde. (sp?)
It kinda sucks staying home from school. Everyone is at school and I'm sitting here listening to Sandstorm and being lonely.
I have to board my Monster AP Jet Cruiser and go to track at like 2:30 and then I have my second night of dance recital. (which was freaking awesome by the way) I'm like the most badass cowboy in existance. It starts at 7 tonight and tomorrow night so if you don't want a surprise ninja attack, I suggest you come.
James and Brian totally ambushed the apartment scene yesterday and I guess everything is set. Man thats going to be so governmnet. Panda Man, I owe you $75 for the deposit. I'll get that soon.

Well friends, The Revolution is over and I, Jake The Awesome Samurai, have defeated the armies of Laziness and have returned to Live Journal. Though the feeling of a bigger revolution in the near future is present.
I graduate from high school in 24 days. It's kind of a scary thought for me.
I'm going to ASU Main in the fall and I'm getting an apartment with Jeff, James, and Brian. That's probably going to be the most badass thing about graduating. Living and going to school with those extreme dewds. More on the college thing later...
Prom is on the 30th and I'm really looking forward to it. I didn't go last year and I'm exploding with awesome since i'm going with Katie. I picked out my Morpheus-esque tuxedo yesterday. Man it's going to be so badass.
I played Stratego for the first time in like 8 years yesterday with Logan. I can't believe I forgot how kick ass that game is.
Apparently Bungie is resetting scores for Halo on x-box live tomorrow. Lots of uncool dudes cheat and stuff so I guess the elite Halo team is gonna fix a bunch of glitches and reset the scoring system.
So everyone and their mother went to the O.A.R concert last night except for me and Logan. We were smoldered with generic rage/pity.

I'm thinking about applying at Sonic for the summer since like 5 people are quitting and it is nigh impossible for me to obtain employment anywhere else. There's a Sonic real close to the apartment in Tempe so that would be sweet if me and Jeff just transfered down there.

Track meet on Wednesday is at Apollo...AGAIN. I think I might actually do good this week. I've been on recovery for the past like 3 weeks. I was sick a while back and that totally just kicked me in the nuts physically.
